On the first day in prison, three of the most dangerous inmates surrounded a 78-year-old woman and demanded that she give them everything she had. When the old woman refused, they began to brutally beat her, without even imagining that, a few minutes later, something that none of them expected would happen. 😨
The old woman was taken to prison early in the morning.
He hardly spoke. He just pressed a small bag with his belongings to his chest and looked around in fear.
He was 78 years old. She heard poorly, walked slowly, and seemed so fragile that many of the inmates couldn’t help but look at her.
After searching her, a guard took the woman to her cell, showed her the bed and warned her:
—In a few minutes everyone will go out to the patio.
The old woman nodded silently.
He still didn’t know that he had already caught the attention of those they feared most in that prison.
In the courtyard was an inmate nicknamed Navaja.
Virtually all of them were afraid of him.
He was big, strong and had numerous piercings on his face and ears. I was used to getting everything I wanted. At her side were almost always two friends who carried out all her orders without question.
When Navaja saw the newcomer, a mocking smile appeared on his face.
—Look who they brought us today.sHer friends started laughing.
The old woman tried to pass by, but Navaja took a step to the side and blocked her path.
—Where are you going, grandma?
The woman stopped.
—I just want to sit down.
—First show us what you brought.
The old woman pressed the bag even tighter against her chest.
—Here are just my things.
—Well let’s see what they are.
One of the women reached out to the bag.
But unexpectedly, the old woman clung to her with both hands.
—Please no.
Razor laughed.
—Have you heard? Now it turns out that he also wants to give us orders!
—I haven’t done anything to them —said the old woman in a low voice.
—We don’t care.Razor abruptly tore the bag from his hands and threw its contents on the floor.
A comb, an old handkerchief, several photographs and a small metal box fell on the asphalt.
The inmates laughed.
—And that’s all? —Navaja mocked—. Have we wasted so much time because of this garbage?
The old woman bent down to pick up her things.
But one of the women pushed aside one of the photographs with the toe of her shoe.
—Crawl, grandma. Go find her.
Several inmates who were nearby watched what was happening, but none of them intervened.
They all knew Navaja.w
And everyone understood that whoever tried to defend the newcomer would become the next victim.
The old woman picked up the photograph in silence.
When she tried to get up, Navaja pushed her on the shoulder.
The woman lost her balance and fell to her knees.

The women laughed again.
—Maybe you shouldn’t even be here —Navaja said in a mocking tone—. You should be sitting in a nursing home.
The old woman tried to get up.
But one of the inmates pushed her again.
This time the woman fell directly to the ground.
—Enough… please —whispered.
But her plea only made her attackers laugh even more.
Razor grabbed the old woman by the clothes, pulled her up and slapped her.
—Here you will do what I say.The old woman began to cry.
She covered her head with her arms as the women began to push her from different sides. One of them hit her several times in the back.
Nobody intervened.
Nobody dared.
But just then something happened that made the entire prison yard immediately silent.
The old woman stopped crying.
He slowly lowered his arms.
And he looked directly at Navaja.
There was no longer fear in his eyes.
Razor frowned.
—What are you looking at?
The old woman did not respond.
He crouched down calmly, picked up the small metal box that Navaja had just pushed aside with his foot from the floor and squeezed it in his hand.
—Open it —Navaja mocked—. What do you have there?
The old woman shook her head.
—You shouldn’t.
—What does «shouldn’t» mean?
Razor stepped forward and tried to snatch the box from him.
But the old woman held his hand in an unexpected way.
Everyone remained motionless.
Even Navaja was taken aback for a moment.
For a 78-year-old woman, her grip was incredibly strong.
Razor tried to remove his hand.
Could not.
The old woman looked her directly in the eyes.
—Listen to me carefully.
A silence reigned in the patio so deep that you could hear a metal door closing on the other side of the wall.
—Right now you think you have a defenseless old woman in front of you.
Razor smiled contemptuously.
—And it is not like that? The old woman remained looking at her in silence for a few seconds.
—No.
He let go of Navaja’s hand.
Then he slowly opened the box.
Inside was an old metal plate.
At first, Navaja didn’t even understand what it was.
But one of her friends suddenly turned pale.
—Wait…
He took a step back.
—I have already seen that symbol.
Razor turned sharply towards her.
—Where?
The woman remained silent.
At that moment, the old woman took out the badge and handed it to the guard, who was already heading towards them.
The guard looked at the object.
And he was paralyzed. His face immediately showed a tense expression.
—Where did you get this from?
The old woman responded calmly:
—They ordered me to hand it over to the prison director.
The guard looked carefully at the plaque again.
—Do you understand what it means?
The old woman nodded.
—That’s precisely why I’m here.
The smile disappeared from Navaja’s face.
—What’s going on?
The guard didn’t even look at her.
Shouted:
—Everyone stay away from this woman!
Nobody moved.
Then he raised his voice even higher:
—I SAID STAY AWAY!
The inmates quickly moved away.
The old woman slowly picked up the photographs from the floor, carefully put them back in the bag, and only then looked at Navaja.
—Did you want to know why I’m here?
Razor remained silent.
The old woman paused.
—Tomorrow you will find out.
And for the first time in many years, Navaja felt truly afraid.
Because only then did he begin to understand it:
that quiet 78-year-old woman had not arrived in prison by chance.
